From here, you can click Select a Video to Upload and select a video from your files. Or you can drag and drop the file in the same box. Be sure your video is at least 720p.
Remember, you can’t edit videos using the TikTok desktop application – that means no music choices or other editing functions available on the app. It’s only possible to upload files ‘as-is’, so make sure you’re okay uploading the file in its current state.
A pro tip is to upload videos between 30 to 60 seconds shot in portrait format. TikTok allows videos up to 10 minutes, but it’ll be difficult to keep viewers’ attention for that long.
From here, you can set your caption, hashtags, and thumbnail/cover image. When you’re done, click Post to upload a video on TikTok on your computer.
